89 4runner E test FAILED
Just failed my trucks last Etest pretty bad and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what the problem could be?
Results are:
40KM/H
READING/LIMIT
HC 285/ 85
CO% 4.23 / 0.47
CURB IDLE
READING/LIMIT
HC 280/200
CO% 6.62 / 1
It failed it pretty bad, i know the 02 sensor is probably bad since its original but why the high CO?

Run super thick oil in it - 40 weight before you do your test. This could make a difference, my friend failed and then changed his oil, and a few other things, and then passed.
I dunno....
Move to Alberta.
