89 4 Runner: Engine Year Compatability ??
Happy new years to everyone!!! Didnt start the new year off to well though.. 
After some deep water wheeling this weekend, it seems as if my old 22r motor ingested a little too much water...The truck hydro-locked for a minute, then finally started but then was soon smoking very bad!!! Anyhow the motor is really old and could use a replacement or rebuild anyway...Well, since there are so many 22re motors out there, I was wondering how new of a motor I could get for my truck that will bolt in/and hook up everything correctly with minor modifications if none at all....Any imput greatly appriciated..
