89 22r-e electrical problem
the other day my buddys check engine light was on in his truck so i was using a paper clip to jump the terminals in the diagnostic box . I wasnt sure which ones i needed to jump and i was too lazy to look so i just guessed. After jumping a few terminals i couldnt get the light to blink so we kinda just gave up. the next day he called me and said that now his check engine light, gas gauge, temp guage and fan blower motor doesnt work at all. we checked the fuses and couldnt find any blown and electrical is not really my thing so i was wondering if anyone had any experience with jumping the wrong terminals in the diagnostic box and making stuff not work. Thanks

im sure its not a good idea to randomly jump the diag box. sounds like you might have fired a few things. i would look into blow fuses, even tho you said you checked. under the hood and in the cab there are fuses
