88 Toyota pickup

What's the best way to clean the engine bay and engine of my Toyota? I have a 22re and just wanna clean it up without cost, I have purple power and just need to know some strategies.

Spray everything, except any electrical stuff (that should go without saying), let it soak...spray off with pressure washer.

Simple job...

Won't the pressure washer be to much water pressure

That's how I would do it, get some engine cleaner or maybe a wheel cleaner, let it soak, spray some more, and then pressure wash.

If you drive to the car wash like I did, be careful not to spray the exhaust directly tho.

Let it dry and coat the rubber/plastic stuff with some wd40 or plastic protector

Use common sense here...It can go a long ways.

Pressure washers are all different and have different pressures. If your blowing stuff apart...Stop.
