88 pickup

How do I get my gas gage to work right it just goes crazy on dash and how to I get the temp gage working properly some time it does but most time it don't

Ok first it would be wise to get or download the FSM for that truck. (factory service manual). Gas gauge issue is probably the sending unit inside the tank. I am not sure on the temp gauge.

Also, we are not mind readers here. The better information you put out there the better the information you will get in return. Nobody has any idea what you have other than an 88 pickup. Is that the 22r engine, the 22re, or the 3vze? Things like this are important.

See basic things like this should be a no brainier to most. I wish you the best of luck, I can tell your going to need it...
