88 4runner weird engine noise
Hi! New poster but long time lurker. This forum has been extremely helpful to me. Thanks to everyone!!
My 88 4runner blew the HG and I replaced that, and all of the timing chain components and upgraded to steel guides. I also deleted ac an the egr system because it wasn't working. Heres a video. I start it while on the gas and have a hard time keeping it running without just flooring it. http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v...e_gdata_player
Everything is connected correctly, plugs, injectors, etc. I'm going to do a compression test tomorrow, but I am stumped on this noise.

Figured it out. The ground that goes to a stud that connects the upper intake to the lower intake was still IN BETWEEN the intake sections. This caused a large vacuum leak which stopped the motor from running, and also made that whining sound.
