88 4runner rear window inside weatherstrip
Got the rear window to work properly...new motor (never want to do that again!!)...missing inside weatherstip / squeegie / sweep that was apparently removed and discarded by the previous owner. Thought maybe I wouldn't need it since it's interior, but the window rattles pretty hard when the tailgate is closed and I would assume would rattle alot when driving (this 4runner is not road-worthy yet). This is a restoration project mostly and want to get it back to good condition.
Any ideas?
Is this a universal part?
Measures roughly 47inches.
Thanks!!!!!

Disregard needing the weatherstrip.
Found it rolled up like a coil.
Apparently has metal inside to help retain it's shape.Straightened it out and washed it and it's in the sun now.
Need the clips to fasten it in.
Still would be nice to know where to get one if needed.

92Toy, I'm the process of rebuilding my gate with a fiberglass front panel. I was planning on bonding the weatherstripping with an adhesive as opposed to using the clips. Most of my clips where cracked anyhow. What condition were yours in? Did you price them out from Toyota yet? Just curious

No did not price them.
The clips (all but 3) are gone.
What do you mean fiberglass front panel?
I bought a carpeted cover(EBAY) to replace the one I had that was bad (inside surface of tailgate),but it still looks bad, even after scrubbing....I thought of maybe diamondplate instead for more stability.
did you take your window and assembly out yet? just put mine back together yesterday.AND IT WORKS!!!!!!
