'88 4-Runner Hi Lift jack storage

I found this storage idea on an older post. After looking at mounting options earlier I had found that a receiver hitch pin is just a little smaller than the holes in the jack. I used the pin instead of a bolt for ease of removal.

Not a bad idea. Pros and cons based on opinions... Place some rubber pads to act as insulators at the attachment points. Keep the rattle to a minimum.

Yes, I used a thin rubber doughnut between the jack and the rollbar to stop the rattle and take up the excess slack.

Nice work, does this keep the jack out of the way from the head of a back seat passenger?

I sat back there to see and at 5' 8" the jack is quite a bit behind and above my head. For my purposes it should be fine. I don't have tall passengers back there. If you were to be doing some serious bouncing or jumping it might not be the best place fo it.

It seems to work out better than laying in my yard until I go out!

I believe they're stock. No rips or tears. I got lucky.

Thanks!
Maybe that explains why everyone has such a hard time getting in and out of the back. Even with the seat full forward and tilted there's not much room between the back of the seat and the back of the door opening.
