'87 Wheel about to fall off!

It seems as if my front right wheel is going to fall off..... (bit of exaggeration) but it has so much camber and also makes a banging noise almost as if somethings really loose when i hit bumps.. It had an alignment done really recently.. and i noticed it a couple weeks after..
What could it be? The lugs are tight, everything looks alright.. Could it be control arm bushings? tie rod bushings? wheel bearing? bent control arms? Ive no clue! But its awfully sketchy..

Could be any of those & more. Best thing is to get it up on jacks & starting looking/pulling/shaking.

have you needed to make any sharp turns and noticed it like when you have to dry steer in a parking lot?

Red face

Keep driving pretty soon you will find out just what is wrong.

I would get it back to the alignment shop right away .

Perhaps they forgot to tighten something??

sounds like a wheel bearing
you will know more when you jack it up, pull the wheel and inspect it...

You have to jack it up and look at it, and pull on it. Otherwise, we're all just guessing.

And my guess is a failed ball joint; that would cause the wacky camber and the noise.

sounds like they didn't get the eccentric bolts tight for the caster/camber settings

I would take it back to the shop you had it aligned at. Most shops have a warranty on all of their services, ask about it. The place I go to has a 90 day warranty on ALL jobs they do. I took it back for a bad distributor and they put a new $400 one in at no charge to me.
