87 runner Ox sensor question

So im trying to re wire my check connector (if you saw my other thread you know why) and im slightly confused. The issue is whats on my truck, does not match whats in the FSM.

The FSM show the Ox sensor on the 22re being just before that cat, with 3 wires coming from it, and the 22R-TEs Ox sensor is in the Exhaust manifold, with only one wire coming from it.

What i have, is a 22re with all original engine parts (to an extent) with the Ox sensor in the exhaust manifold and only 1 wire. The problem is this issue becomes slightly confusing when trying to translate what i physically have to work with, and whats shown in the FSM.

And i know the FSM is for model year 88 and my truck was built in July of 87, so im sure its very possible that there was production change involved, But im not sure where to go from here.

If anyone has any input or advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
