87 front into a 93 front??

87 front into a 93 front??
will a ifs front end from a 87 toyota pickup fit in my 93 toyota pickup as most of u already know i have very bad rust from guy who had it before me working at a marina but thats ok cause i got it for free and found a guy parting a 87

Yeah, the diff housing is the same. Some later model IFS front diffs have a vacuum operated axle engager thingy, if it was equiped with ADD. If you have no manual hubs, then you have ADD.
Replacing the front axle with a non ADD unit would actually be wise. my buddies dad had his vacuum operated thingy go out on the trail = no 4wd = bummer.
I have an 89 fron diff in the yard, and when it comes time to regear and locker, I will swap out the entire unit.
Oh yeah, make sure the ratios are the same if you are swapping an entire unit in. There are at least 3 different R&P ratios from the factory on the early IFS trucks.
