87 4Runner SR5 Owners Manual

Does anyone have a PDF form of the owners manual for a 87 4Runner. Trying to fix my dash lights but but sure on what fuse I should be looking at.

An iron-clad way to get the FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL is through https://techinfo.toyota.com/techInfo...g&locale=en_US
You can get a 2-day subscription for only $15. Since you can also get a yearly subscription, this is intended for service professionals, but you can download as many pages as you want during your 2 days.

My Chilton's says the gauge fuse is number 5 which is the second row in the middle. It should be a 10 amp fuse. These are the fuses under the driver's kick plate. I'm using a Chilton's for the '89 4Runner.

The book you need is a Factory Service Manual or a Chilton's manual. The owners manual I don't think tells you much beyond operating instructions and maintenance schedules. You can get all these from eBay or search here for the link to the Wayback Machine which has FSM's. That link is on post #7 of this thread:

Tail lights and front markers working? How about rear deck light? If both above work, then most likely just the dimmer/potentiometer or wiring to and from it.

They did. You're using the "Wayback" machine to look into the past of the internet. Thank you, Mr. Peabody!

I think the link you actually want is http://web.archive.org/web/201208120...buchanan/93fsm
