87 4runner rear cv driveshaft with duals

i just got done doing sas on my 87 4rnner and now doing duals i was going to put a cv joint on the rear driveshaft but it looks like it will hit the horse collar. has anyone else done duals on a 4runner and used a rear cv driveshaft and did it clear the horse collar

I had to grind the corner out of the crossmember, I guess that's the horse collar.

a bit nerve-racking, but it worked out fine, the rear cardan joint is tight by the ground out area, but so far it hasn't hit.
