87 4Runner gasket part # HELP!
I have been searching all over for a part number for a gasket that goes here. This is an air line the plug into the bottom of the intake manifold. This is on an 87 4runner manual 4x4 22re.
I went even when to two different Toyota sealerships, and looked through all the drawings they could find to no avail.
I've heard some people just use the rtv silicone.

Im pretty sure it comes in a head gasket set so go to your local parts store and look at a head gasket set and on the box it should list all gaskets in the kit with part numbers.

We looked at that part and diagram. My 4Runner does not use that air tube. On the exhaust manifold there are two plates that cover the holes. In the first post you can see that one of the screw holes is of set quite a bit. 17376 GASKET has the screw holes very close and equal distance from the center hole.

I believe 17376 includes two gaskets, one for each end of 'air tube 1'. If you look at the second gasket labeled 17376 above, it appears to be a little different. Did either dealership you went to have them in stock for comparison?
Worst case you could get some gasket material to cut your own, or use an o-ring, or use RTV, etc etc..

Just go to an auto parts store and purchase some gasket material (Do Not Use Cork!!), about a buck's worth, and make your own. If you are worried about leaking, put a bead of silicon around the tubing. Take a look at where that piece mounts to (on the manifold) and see if there is an indent for an O-ring. That piece may very well take just an o-ring.....

Its an o-ring. I didn't get a new one with my head set when I built my motor, I used the old one, with toyota black fipg. I believe the fipg will hold with out it. But just take the tube to a parts store and get an oring that fits it and use sealant if you are sketchy.
If memory serves (without going and looking under the hood in the rain) that tube feeds or is a return for the heater core.
