So my brother and I just did a timing chain on his pick up that has been sitting in his driveway for a few years. So we went to start it and we believe that the carb is plugged somewhere, cause there is gas getting to the carb but won't fire. Truck will start and run for a few seconds with a little bit of carb cleaner but not on its own. So what my question is, is there anything that can be down to clean the carb without taking it completely off and taking it apart, seeing how neither one of us knows anything really about carbs?

Sitting a few years? Hrm. It really probably needs to be taken apart and rebuilt. If you guys don't feel confident about doing it, take it somewhere.
