A Haynes manual will tell you how to check the coil. I am not sure how to check the Igniter. Seems like it is vague in the FSM. How long has the truck been sitting? Was it running before you did motor swap?

A 22r has an oblong disc on the front of the camshaft that pumps the fuel pump, is it on the camshaft? Is fuel pump good? Are fuel lines clogged?

think my buddy has a haynes manuel i can barrow. id say the truck has been sitting since 2010 so for 3 years maybe. i bought it off some guy that was gonna use it for parts but i ended up buying it with the blown motor and he sold me on that was running. i did however disconnect the soft line that connects to the fuel rail and submerge it into a powerede bottle with fuel and still no suck. tried 3 different fuel pumps.maybe a leak that aint letting fuel go threw some where from the soft line to rail under intake and into the pump? and as for spark i have another distributor that I'm try swapping from the blown motor. i would really want to know how to test the ignitor and coil. thanks for the help

Ok so I put the crank at Tdc the rotor facing 11 I clock and cranked it a couple of Diffrent times and aligned the crank back up Tdc and the rotor was facing about 1 I clock. By seeing that I know the timing chain is prolly bad. No question is would I still get spark or not?

I think the 22r uses a different Igniter, but if not here is for a EFI.

Copied...
I found out that my coil is bad. It will pass the secondary resistance checks but fails the primary resistance checks. I had to look into the FSM on how to test the Igniter. I wanted to post the information up, but Photobucket isnt uploading right now. Test for it isnt in Haynes but is in the FSM.

It should be .5-.7

I have not been able to find out how to test in Haynes or on the net. This is out of my FSM. Electric test is easy. The screw is the ground to the igniter with the bracket. With the key on you just look for 12 volts from the ground screw to each of the coils post. Where you hook up the battery it says you have 5 seconds. I think I will pass doing that test. It would take me 5 seconds just to see what is on the meter. My eyes are not as fast as they used to be.

Here is one test you can run to test the coil.>>> https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f198...l#post52118270

Thank your help it's greatly appreciated. I got a Haynes but not a fsm. I still gotta check the pick up coil on the dizzy. It shows how to test the coil in the Haynes Manuel. Also still can't get fuel out the pump. I suck the fees like and gas comes out but I've gone threw 3 used pumps. Maybe there all bad?

You have a filter by the tank, under the bed it could be clogged. Also their is a filter on the pickup tube that can have a build up on it as well. I have seen some bad ones. The pumps could be bad, but I cant see all 3 of them being bad, even if they are used ones.

If you suspect a gas tank issue here is a thread to look into>>> https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f115...s-tank-275304/

Well got the yota running. Was the damn ignitor. As for the fuel problem. It needed the extra pump from the carb to get the fuel in there. Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
