Those look like normal casting marks. Ever looked at a tcase or tranny housing? Look the same way.

Exactly, those are casting marks, there is nothing wrong with that water pump.

I hope its fine. I just ordered a AISIN Water pump from Rock Auto the other day. The previous waterpump on the block was AISIN and it looked fine.
