86 toyota pickup 22r vsv help
hey i am new here i recently picked up a 86 toyota pickup with a 22r, it wasnt running right when i got it (random misses, idles up and down) i replaced the plugs wires cap and rotor which needed to be done due to neglect, it ran a little better but not much.
after doin a little searching on the internet i heard clean the egr out so i did and realized i broke the bottom portion of the egr mount when removing it but put it back on the see if it helped any (planning on replacing egr stat.) found the upper vacuum line on the vsv was disconnected and recconected it, put it all back together and it ran good for about 20 mins turned it off next day went to start it and idled worse then ever, pulled the line off the vsv and it dribbled gas...is that normal? and also could it be from the now damaged egr?
sorry for making this so long!

def rebuild the carb, and your vsv is probably now good for holding down paper due to the gas. start with that, but make sure you tune your carb up right after you rebuild it, otherwise youre gunna have even more headaches!
