86 pickup motor swap
I swapped out a motor from my 86 p/u and dropped in a motor from a 89. I had an issue with the injectors not working correctly. The truck had a 22r-t ecu in it(truck was once a turbo). Found an issue within the wiring but not before it shorted out the 22rt ecu and the 22re ecu. Do I look for the same exact ecu from the 89 to run my truck or an 86 22re ecu?

You will need the 86 ECU, need to go with 86 injectors. Not sure about if you need a ECU that was turbo or not. Here is a link to the different injectors....https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ectors-127606/
The 86 and 89 harnesses are different, one of the biggest is the diagnostic port.
