86 4x4 carb question

I have one quick question. Recently bought a 86 single cab 4x4 with the 22r, after a week of tryin to figure out y it was so slow I come to realize the secondaries on the carb are not hooked up at all. Just really need some pics of the linkage to the secondaries. Tried searching for pics myself with no luck. Thanks in advance

Be aware that on the OEM Aisan carburetor there is a mechanical arm that physically prevents the secondaries from opening until the Choke Pull Off removes all remnants of the choke at the specified temperature.
