86 4runner transfer case problems???
I just replaced the transmission on my 86 4runner and now the transfer case shift lever is stuck all the way back and to the right. it wont move at all.
I have a 22RE Engine with a 5 speed manual tranny and the stock manual transfer case. please help??????/

ok did you check to see if its hitting anything on the body as in sheet metal? or did the shifter come out and not back in right? theres lil ball at the bottom of the shifter it needs to go in just right or it wont move if that dont help then i dont know man sorry

Thanks, it's not hitting any sheet metal, but the ball and alignment could be suspect. thanks for replying.
