86 22RE injector o-rings leak after installing them twice.
I just did a head gasket on my 86 4runner 22RE. A few days after I finished it, it started to get to be hard starting. So I looked at it and found that 2 or 3 of the 4 injector o-rings where leaking bad and spraying fuel everywhere. So I took it apart installed some new ones made extra sure that they where lubed good. It started and ran great for about 5 days. Now it is back to hard starting again. I looked and did not see anything spraying yet, but im sure within time I will see fuel coming from the injector o-rings again. What am I missing or doing wrong here. What is the torque for the fuel rail. I have not been torqueing it but it is snug. Help please.

I had the same problem. I took hylomar and put some on the o rings but make sure you don't get it in the injector. I imagine it would clog it up bad... try it at your own risk. Mine has not leaked for the past 10k : )
