86' 22r carburetor problems
My truck is a 1986 4x4 22r carbureted engine with probably 176,000 miles on it. I am not the first owner and don’t have the history on the truck. The carburetor gasket has blown out multiple times in the past few weeks. Is it likely the carburetor is wore out or is there an underlying problem like a bad intake valve causing back pressure on the carburetor or maybe a warped manifold plate.
