i need help with 7mgte swap 94 2wd pickup info
Im new to the site but been avid toyota fan for years! I have a 94 2wd pickup that ive fully converted the front end to 94 4runner headlights and all! But the 22re is not cutting it anymore! Just bought a sick built 7mgte swap wit 60-1 garret turbo, w58 trans, aem standalone ecu, wiring harness.....all i need to make a solid 380whp on 10lbs of boost if id like to but gonna settle on 250 and keep it streetable! Just curious what engine mounts to use and from what vehicle i can find them on to make search easy? Drive shaft to use or mods to mine ill need to do? Ive been on supracharged and other site but most swaps are done on 4wd!

It depends You might get lucky and be able to use some sort of stock mounts.
It all depends just where the engine ends up once it is sitting in the frame
There will be lots of fitting till this is done.
Simple to use the stock mounts by moving the frame side brackets once you have figured just where the mounts are going to sit.
In any case good luck:wabbit2:

theres alot involved with just getting the enigne in there because its so long and the turbo being there just adds to the headace. how far have you gotten along on your supra swap craig?

ditch that w58. I'm on w56 #3 and I'm only putting 300 through the tranny. Thats me driving nice. plus you can hear the thrust washers rattling around when its in neutral. Get the r154 that the engine came factory with if you want it to last. So simple since its a 2wd. They're good for way more than what your going to put through it. You'll probally blow a diff or 2 as well if you launch hard in first so think ahead for swapping something else underneath the rear. Do you have an t4 exhaust manifold for the turbo? with my ct26 and the factory exhaust mani its a tight fit. Then again, I have much larger shock hoops which you may not.
