4wd after trans swap

so i just swapped out my auto for a 5 speed and im trying to get the 4wd working now, i know that most people will just switch vacuum lines and put in manual hubs, but i was thinking it would be nice to still use the add system and be able to put it in 4hi or lo and go and not have to get out and switch my hubs, i know i have seen someone that did a vacuum set up inside the cab too but i want to see if i can just do it with the system thats there with by passing and jumping where i need,

im thinking i might need to just rewire it all my way to get it to work but just wanted to see what people have to say.....

so after reading over the wireing many times and going what the hel..... i figured it out, i now got the stock 4wd to work with shifting the 4wd lever... heres what u had to do.

first cut harness from the trans u will need it to plug into the trans.

then take the orange and tan wire from the gray harness and splice them together.

now with the black one

the red and blue get put together and yup to one side of the switch for transfer case and the tan wire goes to the other side.

this will then make your 4wd work like it should when u shift it into 4wd hi or lo it will go...

Grey plug take orange and gray and put them together. Check
Black plug. Take blue and red put them together. So what are you talking about one side of the TC switch?

I wish you didnt tape everything up

with the blue and red together go to one side of the switch on the transfer case and the other wire on the transfer case goes to the tan wire, but this is if u are going to use the auto ecu.
