Exclamation 4Runner Vent Panel Behind Door

I've seen this explained in a thread before, but have had no luck finding anything now.

I want to run my antenna coax though this vent to the inside panel

What I need to know: Does the vent behind this panel lead to the inside panel?

I know its tricky to get it on and off, too. So any advice and answer you can give me would be great.

Thanks!

40 actually. I know it vents the cab. I was just wondering if I'd be able to route my coax through it to the inside panel.

You could run it through there if you'd like. When you remove the vent cover, you'll break the clips that hold it to the body. No way around that. You can get new clips from the dealer, or one of the online vendors.

its kinda tricky to take them off, i tried at the local junkyard on the 4runners and to be honest, i ended up breaking the little clip tabs.. also there is a vent thing that ends into the cab.

The louvers are impossible to remove without breaking the clips. You could run a coax under there if you really too.
