4runner not starting

Hi all, long time reader, 1st time poster. I just got a 91 runner SR5 v6, automatic. Ran like a champ, passed safety and I/M with flying colors. Last week I was grinding off some rust and I needed to pull the car forward about 3 feet. It fired right up, I pulled forward and turned it off. That was the last time it started.

The next morning I tried to start it and it would turn over, but wouldn't fire up. At first I thought I just flooded it. I tried starting with the pedal to the floor. Still nothing. I pulled a few of the spark plugs and they were all dry. Next I thought power. I check battery terminals and the neg was a little loose. I tightened it down. Still nothing. While I had the spark plugs out I did test start it and I was getting a spark. Then I decided it was lack of fuel. I tested the fuel pump and it is whirling fine, but as a squeeze what I'm pretty sure is the fuel line I don't feel any pressure inside. Fuel filter, right? So after removing the cross member and struggling with a bunch of rusted bolts, I got it replaced. I put it all back together and tried it again, still nothing. Now I'm just shooting in the dark, I checked and double checked all the fuses, checked the airflow sensor, and now I turn to you the experts, what do I need to do?
It turns over but does not fire up!!! HELP!!!

Where were you grinding? Did you check the EFI fuse?

Two things to start with is to put a fuel pressure guage on it to check the actual fuel pressure. If that is ok check injector pulse. The injectors will have power any time the ignition is on and the ecu will provide the ground. You can pick up a noid light at a good parts store that plugs in place of the injector and will flash as you crank it. A regular test light will tell you if there is power. No power= blown fuse or faulty relay, no pulse is faulty ecu.

I was grinding some rust right below the glass trim, it was about 4 inches wide and 1 inch thick.

I'll go to my favorite shop (read my dad's garage) and I'll see if I can get a fuel pressure gauge and noid light. I'll let you know what I find.

Done and Done

Well I figured it out. The air control plate under the sensor was sticky, so I had my wife start it while I pushed on the plate. It started right up. I'll get some electronic cleaner and clean it out and I think it'll be good. Thanks for the quick replies, it really got the thinking wheels turning.
