4runner diffs in pickup??
Ok im pretty sure this will work but thought id ask. I have a 93 pickup with manual hubs and want to install diffs out a 4runner from junkyard with 4.88 but is has vaccum lock motor on front diff??? So i just use the tubes and axles from my original front diff on the 4runner 3rd member??? Its a lot cheaper to get gears this way. Lol

That is definitely one way to do it, but I know personally if I had the whole assembly out of the truck I would swap the non-ADD tube and axle to the new diff. (and in fact I have done exactly that) It's nice to get rid of one more potential point of failure for the 4wd system.

Thanks! That was my thinking. Just swap my tube and axles and roll on. Now is the add made attached to the tube or seperate on the housing? Just curious once i swap my tube if i leave that on there or it comes off. Thanks
