I have a 3vze that has been recently rebuilt. I had a problem with the power steering pump air control valve leaking fluid back into the intake. I replaced the valve with a bolt and close the vacuum line circuit. I haven't notice any performance in the power steering at idle which is all the valve did from my understanding. It has run like a champ since but has uncovered another issue which i think the PS fluid through the intake was suppressing. It now idles high, around 1500-2000 Rpm, even when it is warm. Except, once and a while the idle will drop down to between 500-1000 rpm that it should be.

Im trying to troubleshoot it quick since I have to flip it before the fishing season starts. Anybody know whats going on here.. simple adjustment to idle screws or replacing the IAC valve? Thanks
