3VZE fuses

after years of flawless jumping of various machinery/vehicles, I did the inevitable and tried to jump my 94 pickup in the dark, in a hurry, like an idiot.

Reversed it. Sparks, cursing, and a molten connection all were the result.

there is NO response, not a light not a buzz, nothing... So I'm hoping/praying it's just a big main fuse, but no idea where to start, and yes I've searched.

Where can I go right away without alotta figuring and searching, I'm trying to get this done ASAP. I'm guessing it's 100a, and if I'm not mistaken from my reading it's bolted in place...

but I've no idea where it is
help?

Yeah, you don't pull it like an ordinary fuse. It's actually 80A, and it's located behind the battery in the fuse box there.

These are in the driver's side kick panel(86-88).

I ain't got no pics for the later years, so here's the FSM.

The 80amp fuse is bolted in and can't be pulled out easily. Remove the fuse box and take the bottom part off. You can see the bolts from the bottom and you can remove them from the bottom. 8mm wrench as i remember from the last time I blew that fuse.

Says right on that image that it is the main charging circuit fuse between the alternator and the battery.

Heater, taillights, radio, gauges, ... And the generator. Here's the diagram: http://web.archive.org/web/201204170.../2powersou.pdf

Both starter and EFI are downstream of that circuit, so you're not going anywhere when that fuse opens.
