3vze frost plugs or...

Hi, have not posted here for quite awhile though I've been lurking. My 90 4runner has been stellar for so long I've forgotten about repairs.

So last weekend I had the cooling system flushed/filled with toy coolant, today I noticed a leak down the rear side of the engine. I crawled under there and saw what looks like a frost plug just above where the exhaust takes a bend and some steaming around the area.

After searching here a bit I read there's a small 3/8 hose in the vicinity that can also leak, is this true? Also I can't find any doc's on frost plug locations on this block, so I'm just guessing that's what it is, looks like the ones on a 350 anyway. I understand the only way to fix these is to drop the tranny?

there are a bunch of coolant hoses on the top rear of the motor. let it all dry and start looking from the top, use a mirror to see behind and you should be able to locate the source of the leak.
