3vze build

Hey all, new to the forums.

I own a 1990 4x4 pickup and love it. Recently I noticed that the engine was drinking coolant quite a bit, then noticed a large coolant leak.... Figuring it was the head gaskets I decided to do a full rebuild (also having over 400,000km also led me to this decision). So out comes the engine and during tear down it was found that the valley was full of coolant. Not sure where it was coming from (bad frost plug, upper rad hose passage, head gasket) but it doesn't matter.

So this is what I'm doing, I have to deck the block as there is pitting, my cyl head guy says he can fix the pitting on the cyl heads. I'm going to re-grind the crank and install undersized bearings. I'm also planning on boring the cylinders.

So my questions are...
Should I bore it .20 or .30 over?
Anyone know of performance cams for these?
I have seen higher flow injectors on ebay... Anyone have experience with these?
Any other good mods I should consider with the engine out and apart?

I plan on installing headers in the future.

I know of the 3.4l swap and am not interested so please don't respond "put in a 3.4l"

Any other info will help

Thanks guys

Raggs
