31's Rub on BJ Spacers?

Hey guys, Finally decided I'm getting 31x10.5x15 Treadwright M/T's and I need rims to put them on, I want Cragars D-Window Black steelies but I need to know what backspacing to get to make sure balljoint spacers WONT make the tires rub on the upper A-Arm, I would also like a little wider stance than I have, I will eventually be getting balljoint spacers up front and don't want them to rub when I install them, if anyone knows that would be great, I have no clue about rim backspacing or anything like that, thanks.

Why don't you use the stock rims? I used my alloys with some treadwright 31/10.50/15 OTR's and no lift and nothing rubs.

Ouch. I actually like my wheels although I'm not sure what the difference is between the SR5 package (mine) and a base package.

Nope...that's right. The lesser the number, the wider the stance......the rim sticks out further from the hub.

Yeah....I have the stock steelies for my '86....6" wide. I don't know what the backspacing is, though. I can tell you any base or SR5 7" Toyota rim will solve the rubbing issue. But, again, I don't the backspacing.

My stock SR5 aluminum rims (like Junkers88 above) have 4.75" backspace. Now I am running the Tacoma 16" rim, which is more like 5".

Norcalsvx said use 4", which I think would be a good compromise of fitting, and a little wider stance than stock. Maybe go 3.5" but not any less, they'd stick out too far.

I would go with a 15x8 with 3.75-4" of backspacing.

Im running 3.5" of backspacing and my tires stick out around 3".
