3.slow Fuel Injector Wiring Module Fix

While in the midst of replacing my valve cover gaskets and subsequently my passenger-side camshaft end cap (leaking), I managed to break the module retaining clip on the #1 cylinder plug module. Note that the "loop" of the module is on the top-side of the pic. Having found the "zip tie" method on the forum, I decided to fix it my way:
  1. Unwind two small paper clips
  2. Insert the pointy ends of the paper clip into and underneath the gray terminal keepers of the plug body. (You'll see them both just above the metal contacts.) Refer to the blue lines in the pic.
  3. The gray terminal keepers will move upwards as the paper clip wire slides underneath.
  4. Gently pull the metal contacts out of the plastic module housing.
  5. Insert the metal contacts (same orientation) into the new plastic housing.
  6. You'll feel and/or hear the "click" as the metal contacts move into place
  7. Done

I'll post the Toyota replacement part number when it comes in tomorrow.
Edit: Toyota Terminal 90980-10720
