3" bj spacer lift only 1.75"?...

Just got my bj spacer lift kit in, 3" front 2" block for the rear. The blocked measured 2 in but the bj spacers are only 1 3/4"?...I take it you have to crank the Tbars to get the 3?..

Where did you order the spacers from? Usually they are 1.5 inches tall and you adjust the bars to get the other 1.5. I bought a set used and the spacer turned out to be 1.75 tall.

4Crawler sells his in 1.5

http://m.ebay.com/itm/281820624671 got the kit off ebay, I'll read measure in a second to make sure it was 1.75. Pretty sure it was (it is 1.75 just measured)

The guys that sell those 3" kits don't tell you that you have to crank the torsion bars all the way up to their max to get the 3" of lift....DON'T DO THAT.

Enjoy the 1.75" that you'll get and be done with it, or grab a small body lift if you really need the extra lift.

yeah, as SacRunner says.. don't tighten the torsion bars so far up. Also, the BJ spacers and the torsion bar do two completely different things to get the lift. Pushing over 1.5-inch lift requires other modifications which you should look into or else you will ruin various other components.

Yeah I agree with them both. Be cautious with how much you crank those suckers up. I do alignments on lifted trucks all the time and cranked bars will just throw everything out.
