put a volt meter on the battery while hooked to the truck, then start pulling fuses one at a time... when u pull one and the volts go up, thats the circuit with the draw.

Good luck!

My guess is that your alternator is going out. Whatever you do don't buy a crappy autozone replacement. There are a couple of places that will rebuild your denso though like new or even with higher output.

It's unlikely that will work; unless you have a big draw (5-10amps) that big-ass battery shouldn't change voltage.

But Team420 might have meant an ammeter, hooked in series. That will 1) tell you if you have a parasitic draw, 2) how much, and by pulling fuses 3) where it is.

You should have about 10-50ma of draw all the time (clock, etc.), but that would take about 3 years to run down the battery. If you're running the battery down overnight you've got to be pulling at least 1amp (a 40amp-hr battery, in theory, can put out 1amp for 40 hours).

Don't be stupid; with an ammeter hooked in on the 0-10amp scale, if you crank the starter you'll incinerate the meter.
