3.0 sluggish issues after timing belt

Ok, 88 runner 3.POS 5spd..

This pulled hard up top for a 3.0 before the belt tonight... I did a timing belt, cam seals and acc belts (road trip tomorrow).. Well, I got this thing DEAD NUTS ON, it runs great really, it just isnt pulling up top how it was, it seems that maybe the PO had it advanced.. its right at zero where its suppoesed to be (right?) on the pully and crank and everything is dead on... Just doesnt have the pull up top anymore, seems to be lower on the rpm band and ower falls off sharp at 4800 (use to pull hard to 5-5100 (actually runs better now at lower rpm) think i can get away with squeezing a few degrees advance out of the dizzy??

Thoughts please.. and again, its not off a tooth for fact, its dead on..

TIA

Mike

Did you check the timing. All I can think of is the belt was off by one tooth before and you put it back to correct, which if it was on the driver side cam, would change the timing.
