Fuil?

"starts for a moment and stops" is the classic sign of a problem in the VAF-COR circuit. Jumper FP to B+ in the diagnostic connector to force the fuel pump to run with key-on. If that clears up your problem, your VAF and COR are not keeping the fuel pump running once the engine starts sucking air (and after you let go of the key).

PS You DO have all the induction plumbing (large black tubes) connected, don't you?

Well, just so you know, there is no cam sensor (cam position is derived from the G signal).

I'm not shure what the G signal is but all I know so far is that it is not a fuel pump issue or spark but the injectors I noticed are all firing at the same time should that be?

Yes, they all fire simultaneously. '80s technology.

Any vacuum leaks and all hoses routed correctly? These trucks do not like leaks at all.

I don't know the 3.0 but I have had battles with a 22 motor due to leaks.

When was the last complete tune up on it with all new ignition parts, filters and such? I have seen people try and trouble shoot a motor with worn parts on them and that can cause all kinds of issues. Start at the basics of complete tune up, check for leaks, make sure all connection are made correctly, check timing, valve settings and such. Once that is done see what symptoms remain. Use quality parts. Check that all ports are free of carbon from the EGR.

When I get into a situation like this on a truck, what problems are left usually pops up at to what is causing the problem after all of the basics are done. Fixed more then one truck this way and is needed to get a truck back up to condition.
