3.0 hesitates and runs weak in the rain
When I first got the truck it had a little issue with hesitation/stumble and new plug wires corrected the problem. It has been running great aside from when it rains... then the stumble comes back even worse and it seems to lack more power than usual overall even when it gets out of it's hesitation point. Usually this hesitation is at lower rpms taking off from a stop. It also happens occasionally when going down hill and hitting the gas just enough to keep up highway speed.
I have read on it a little bit and seemed to come up with a lot of people having trouble with 02 sensor wire problems associated with this. I crawled under the truck and the 02 sensor wires are in really good shape unless I'm missing something and there is a second one somewhere?? I also looked at some ground wires. One went from the battery to the body and one was attached in the driver side fenderwell near the coil/igniter etc. Is there another one I should be checking? The looked good with no corrosion etc. There is a bit of corrosion on the + terminal of the battery. Could this cause such a problem only when it rains? Are there any other common points I should check when I go fire it up and go to work with a spray bottle of water? Also, are there any parts I should NOT spray with that water bottle while testing for this problem?
No engine codes whatsoever, automatic transmission.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I haven't done the cap and rotor or the plugs yet. I don't really know what to look for as far as wear and tear inside the cap nor do I know how to get the rotor itself out. I do already have those parts ordered from advance auto parts though and should be here shortly.

I checked over the ground wires that go from the battery to the passengers side inner fenderwell, and the one that attaches to the drivers side inner fenderwell under the ignition coil/igniter and there is no corrosion, the wires are in great shape and the fittings are bolted down nice and tight. Is there another ground wire I should be looking for under the hood? I'm sure there has to be I'm just not sure where to look.

My old 3.0 use to not start when it would rain. It ended up being from the coil getting wet. I gave it a good coating of silicone spray and it works fine ever since.
