Have you checked it since you had the oil changed? It's possible it just was not filled enough. There should be some pretty obvious evidence of the oil going somewhere if you are loosing that much.

Does the coolant and oil look normal? ie the oil is not frothy and the coolant does not have oil in it. It's not putting out any blue smoke at start up or any other time? How much have you driven in the 2 months since the oil change?

When you say 'next to nothing in it', do you mean it was just low on the dipstick? And who changed your oil?

Could just be a tired motor. Piston rings....>_< Whats the miles on the engine? I have a very worn out 22re in my truck i plan to rebuild soon but it burns oil.

I change my oil every 3k miles.... but its burns up about 2-2.5 quarts between oil changes.

Yea lil high mileage.

Check plugs for oil deposits.

Look in intake for high and wet oil.(Behind throttle plate too)

Pvc valve?

Sure its not leaking externaly?

Compression test?
