I haven't pulled the body on a runner but I did pull the cab and bed on my pick-up when u redid the frame.
A Runner cab is heavy so consider using a lift or bobcat or something to pick it up.
Remove the interior, seats, doors etc to lighten the load. Disconnect everything that goes from the body to the motor or frame. Electrical plugs thru the firewall, fuel lines, throttle cables, brake lines, etc. there is an electrical plug under the front passenger seat too (that may be truck specific) that runs the tail lights and fuel pump. Disconnect your body mounts and lift.
Like I said, I did a standard cab pick-up with 3 buddies and had no problem. A Runner can weighs probably 2-3x more. Plus you have to lift it high enough to clear the motor unless you pull that first. So figure lifting chest high.

I just got sone doing this to a 2nd gen. It was pretty easy actually, I bought a extremely clean crashed up 4cyl with a fubared frame then found a v6 one with good frame and bad engine. the worse part of it was redoing the engine mounts to keep the 4cyl. As fierohink said just disconnect everything from body to frame and lift. I used my walnut tree to lift mine like this:

That's an awesome walnut tree for that purpose. How long did it take from when you planted it to get to where you could use it as a lift point?

Haha i have been told it could 70-80 years old i have no idea, but yeah it worked perfect for it. If you look in the second pic you'll notice that it is 2 different trees grafted together, black and english walnut
