22rte running lean/ squeeling
posted this on the 22rte forum, but it seems dead over there so ill copy it here
got my boost gauge hooked up and took it out for a spin, found that under normal driving i would get the best of 0psi (no vaccum/ no boost) and in 1st gear i couldnt get boost at all
in 2nd and 3rd i got boost at about 3000rpm but it went around around 4500rpm and only maxed out at 5-6psi
im ganna try to change the hose for the gauge and see if that helps, also the line is going into the manifold above the number 2 cylinder intake runner
as for the squeeling, idk what it is turbo or belt? but it only happens around 5000rpm+
dont have a wideband yet but can tell the new plugs are really white after doing a compression test, there seems to be a crack in the tubing going from the afm to the turbo, so ill replace that
oh and compression was 130, 125, 120, 120 but i was only cranking the motor for about 1 full second, exp on the 130 test which was a good 3 seconds, then i got lazy lol
any help!?
