22re won't start after engine swap
i have a 1991 Toyota 4x4 5 speed 22re. I bought it with no motor. Found a 1994 Toyota 22re truck and bought it and swapped the motor over to mine. Like the beginner I am, I left the wiring harness in the donor truck. I assumed everything would be the same. It's definitely not. Some sensors are but others aren't. I have some pictures of some of the sensors that I cannot find there homes for. The other issue is, truck will turn over and will start when you give it shot of carb cleaner but dies. It isn't getting any gas. I am no mechanic by any means but I had some buddies helping me tonight and we could not locate nor hear the fuel pump cut on at any time tonight. We undid the line from the fuel filter and tried starting it to see if gas would come out of line but nothing comes out. Also, cannot hook TPS up. The plug from the 91 won't fit in the 94 TPS. The 91 TPS won't fit on intake. The 2 prongs that are behind sensor are horizontal on the 94 and are vertical on the 91 sensor. If anyone has some advice, knowledge, or suggestions for any of my issues it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dillon

the circled plug that's against the firewall is for the egt sensor... my '86 doesn't have a connection in the harness for it, so i removed the sensor and put a short bolt in the hole.
that circled plug way down under the intake manifold could be a knock sensor, or maybe oil pressure? something on the block must not be plugged in.
worst case with the tps is that you should still have the '91 throttle body, so you can use that, it's what worked with the tps before.
circuit open relay powers the fuel pump, but the cor is plugged in via that plug on the top of the factory air cleaner box, you need to have that connected. http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTri...ORelayLocation
