Ok so I have a 1988 22re in my truck and it was have symptoms of a bad fuel filter. So last night I changed it out, first time I put it on backwards ( stupid me) then I changed it around the right way and sprayed sea foam down my intake just for the hell of it. It's really weird it idles perfectly revs perfectly at idle but after taking it for a spin around 1000 to 1500 rpm it bogs right down and barely lets me make it past 2000 rpm but then when it gets around 2500 rpm it kinda kicks into normal . It never did this before I changed the fuel filter. The CHARGE light just started flicking yesterday and now it is fully on. The engine is also ticking , almost certain it's the valves. This is my my daily driver and I need help ASAP , anything is appreciated !
