22re very bad idle possibly vacuum leak

Hello my 91 toyota 4runner 4cyl has a very bad idle when warm. The idle will drop drop drop until she stalls other than that she runs great on freeways. I replaced IACV, ignition wires, spark plugs, distributor cap, TPS also got adjusted, vavles adjusted, cleaned throttle body and intake manifold, and last but not least all new vacuum hoses. When replacing the vacuum hoses i broken one of the prons on the blue VSV. I cant find this blue vsv anywhere junk yards are useless because mostly v6 4runners or the engine is completely gone. Auto zone, napa and checker dont carry it, im guessing im stuck with going to the dealership and buying one unless someone knows of a website that sells toyota parts. Anyway sprayed a few places with starter fluid and find out that the motor revs when i spray around the egr. All vacuum lines are connected and new. Im stuck in between a rock and a hard place PLEASE help. I can post a picture of the blue VSV and where it is broken if needed.

I'm studing the vsv issues myself, but I don't know anything about them yet. If your engine revs at a spray of carb cleaner, this means a leak, and will make things run rubbish. My 22re has been doing quite a bit of that.
New gasket for the EGR might sort your idle problems.
Also there is a thread on here somewhere about a mod you can do that involves the tip of a plastic pen and some glue, to fix the vsv.
Good luck, and keep reading!
