22RE timing chain Q

hey New-b here'

I blew the head gasket on my 87 toy P/U last month, so I went and bought a new head and time chain kit, the truck has 320,000 miles on it.

any ways due to the economy i decided to do it my self, I got some tech info from this site about time marks and setting the distrib, followed all the info, sproket dimples and the silver chain link and all, even the distrib seem to go in correct, but its won't start and sounds outta time, any sugetstion before i tear it down again what may have gone wrong.......

Thanks Manny

you likely put the dizzy in 180 off. Really easy to do. Set it back to 0 and try again.
