22re throttle surge/pulsating

This just started today. Last night I replaced vacuum hoses 1 by 1 so they are all correct. I also replaced pcv valve and grommet. I didn't notice this last night. When I started it up today it started doing this. Idles perfectly fine. One does this when giving it throttle

UPDATE: only does this after warm. Does not do it when cold

Check the AFM? I had similar idle issues after the spring broke on my unit, it kept the door shut keeping air from entering the ECU.

Did you try the old PCV valve? I would check the hoses again, since it ran good before.

Yes I tried old pcv and put all the old hoses back in yesterday. Problem still there. I think the problem is elsewhere just a coincidence it seems to have started after replacing hoses..

Yeah, that stinks. I always think it's something I did. Might check the coil, see what the ohms are. Or fuel pump and filter. Heck, I might even pull the negative battery cable off for awhile.

Thanks will check those. And negative cable has been off all day. I've got tonight and all day tomorrow to figure it out...

I have a hard time following the quote "if it ain't broke don't fix it." Lol seems like every time I try to do a little preventative maintenance a problem occurs!!

Try burping the system of air in the coolant system. That will cause surging.

Problem solved, I was wrong. Somehow I did manage to cross up a vacuum line at throttle body. All new hoses in and running like a champ again.

Smoke test the intake for vacuum leaks. I had some bumps in the idle and swore that I didn't have any vacuum leaks. Smoke test proved otherwise and the idle smoothed out. These motors act up on the slightest vacuum leak.

Stanz my idle is great! No bumps or anything. I solved this issue a while back it ended up being that after I changed vacuum lines I crossed two up..

Now I'm dealing with a sticking throttle!! Can't figure it out
