2 1/8" comes to mind. I am not positive though.

The thing is I am going to have my brother come up and build a new exhaust system for me. I need to know what size pipe and muffler to buy. Can you buy a 2 1/8 inlet muffler. We are trying to do it the cheapest way possible. We are removing the cat and putting in new pipe and muffler.

i thought it was either 1 3/4" or 1 7/8"

since your building a new exhaust, why not upgrade to 2 1/4"?

yeah was planning on going 2 and 1/4 but need to know what size adapter to get. I think? This is all new to me. I was thinking of cutting before the cat and then new pipe to new muffler then more new pipe. If the new pipe is 2 1/4 what size should the inlet for the new muffler be?

well everybody is seeming to have a different answer, can you just go out and measure it with a tape measure or something? that way you will know exactly what size your current exhaust is.
