22re running issues after rebuild

I bought a truck that jumped timing while running (it did not run when I got it). We have replaced the timing componets, put a reman head on, all new top end gasket kit and new head bolts. Last weekend we turned it over and there was nothing, no compression. We then adjusted the valves and got some compression we also set the distributer properly. Now when you start it it runs really smooth for 2-3 seconds then gets real rough. We had it running as long as 45 seconds with constant modulation of the gas pedal. It seems like this is a fuel problem? Checked the relays and fuses was not the problem, might it have something to with the cold start valve? There was also coolant under the truck, and there was some on top of the head (by the valve cover)between cylinders 3 and 4 there is some kind of coolant pipe that goes under the intake manifold near this area could that be spraying out? thanks for the help
