22re possible fuel problems?
Hello Yotatech. I'm brand new here and was hoping to get your advice on an issue with my truck. Its a 22re that is having some issues.
-When its cold, it wont start at first unless my foot is on the gas.
-When it first starts, it has a low and rough idle.
-Once its warm, it starts with no assistance and idles fine.
-When accelerating, above 1,200 rpm, it will jump or miss a little bit and runs rough.
Not sure what this problem is and would love some input. I'm sure its been covered here but this is my first post so I'm still getting used to the site.
Thanks

Do the easy stuff first. Any stored codes? Have you checked the timing (ignition)? Pull out the plugs and look at them. They should all look the same, fine white ash (usually), but definitely not wet or oily.
There are approximately 1,000,000 things that could cause your symptoms; you need to look systematically.

Check and replace your ignition components if necessary: plugs, cap, rotor, coil.
Check and adjust your valves if necessary.
Find 4Crawler's guide and check your throttle position sensor (TPS) and adjust/replace i necessary.
Check and adjust your idle speed and timing after each of the above steps in accordance with the manual.
